2 Runestones Lost due to full inventory

My LS did a few Faction NMs last night 1 at Camp Broken Water and the other at Camp Bloodshore. At the time I was unaware but i must have had a full inventory because a few hours later after killing a few Dodore I did not have the 2 runestones in my inventory.

So I warped over to Broken Water to check if it was in Suspension because of a full inventory, I clicked on the Crystal and received the rewards of the faction but not the runestone.

Why did the crystal save the Vintage Scale Mail Reward but not the runestone from the chest at the time I checked my loot list to be sure and nothing was in it so i assumed like it was any other drop in this game and believed i did indeed have the stones , as this happened twice this has to be programmer error, is there anyway i could get back the stones that got lost?

I know for a fact the stones never went into my lootlist and that is bad programming.

The 2 stones were for the Buccaneers Body and sash.

I tried contacting a GM in game but no dice. Any Suggestions on what to do?

Edit: yes they do go to your loot list if your inv is full so this is kinda your own problem.

Many mmos have now adopted whats called and overflow bag. When your inventory is full your items get tossed into an overflow bag. The items stay there until you clear them out. Having items in an overflow bag stops you from being able to buy or trade items until you have managed the inventory.

FFXIV should adopt this ASAP. Its very easy to fill up on items and not even realize it in this game.

The vintage is a reward attached to the guildleve, the runestones are drops from the chest. Just like any drop they go to your loot list and then if they drop to you and you are full they are lost forever.

Sorry to say, you're out of luck on those items. Always be sure to have inventory space before to wander out into distant lands. You never know what you will find. Chests don't magically hold items for you like Aetherite Crystals do.

Ok the fact is i got the drop and nothing was in my loot list, so why are they not in my inventory? Have any of you seen these stones go into a loot list ever?

Never mind someone else confirmed they do not going into your loot list if your inventory is full... so my idea wouldn't work.

I thought maybe it had fallen into someone else's loot lost and they either a) didn't see it or b) ninja looted ya lol. Was gonna tell ya to ask the people you partied with if maybe they had gotten them.

Like I said I was sure to look in my loot list to make sure they were not in there and no they did not go into lootlist. If they had I would have seen them a made room this is the problem.

would have helped if you screenshoted your log.
it usually tells you when something goes into your treasure box or if it can be picked up only after clearing your inventory.
you probably didn't pay enough attention and thus lost those 2 runestones.
GMs most likely won't be able to help you in this case as you should have paid attention to your inventory.
that's why i run around with atleast 50 free slots.
