    So I don't think this was meant to be a post about how bad parry is, so I'm still curious about the testing found on parry. I don't think it's been explored nearly enough, even if the concensus is that it's garbage.

    Its not to be heavily relied upon, but even a 4% chance for an extra 1% or 2% overall damage reduction (long term) is better than 0%. However despite the proc rate. With Dark Dance, I've noticed, low blow and Reprisal seems to reset/trigger more often with the higher rate parry rate. I just can't tell if its from more parry procs or if their trigger rate scales differently off the same stat.

    Low Blow/Reprisal procs when you parry. Dark Dance increases parry rate. So, under the effect of DD, it's more likely you'll see LB resets and a Reprisal proc. Not 100% like RI, but an increase non the less, and it has no stat weight cost as it's just an ability in your kit.

    Also Parry (the secondary stat) has been explored for 2+ years now. We even had a rise of a few DEX PLDs in Final Coil. It's a trash stat and even if it did scale better it'd still be unreliable and unpredictable. That said, it's a secondary stat, so take what you can get unless you've got a choice between 2 identical ilvl pieces.
