Looking at all the new changes about to hit in 1.19 has me very excited again. I've been a dedicated player since day one and I can honestly say SE has moved this game in the right direction. Now I could be jumping the gun here but from my understanding the same system that we are currently using pertaining to equipping weapons and armor pretty much still apply. We will be having some nice new color coding system that will tell us wheather or not what we are wearing is or isn't benefting our character. This is all good and well but the real problem is still being overlooked.

Rank restriction on NM gear is not the issue, it's really not even necessary. The gear is untradeable first off, secondly the mobs that drop their associated loot pretty much corresponds with the rank of th mob you are killing to get the drop.

The problem has always been with the crafted items. I talk to many up and coming crafters and the all have the same complaints they can't sell anything associated with their lower ranks. This has been a inherent problem sicnce day 1. If we do not have a system that says "you are lvl 20.... These are the items you get to choose from" If you like the way the lvl 30 stuff looks like guess what? Get to lvl 30! All the Materia and color coding in Eorzea will not fix what is really pleaguing this system in the game!

Minimum required level to equip a piece of gear or weapon is essential for long-term survivability of the crafting system!

The changes being made to the recipe system are fantastic, please don't make a large portion of these new items obsolete before they even come out.
