I think losing the reduced subscription is an unreasonable fear, although it remaining exclusive to Legacy players is another story. It's fairly common for developers to decide that exclusive means "for an undisclosed period of time" rather than forever.

And the natural extension of your point is that all seasonal event rewards should never be available to those who join the game post-event, because they were late to the party and you weren't. Special snowflake needs trumps access to allowing everyone to have access to fun stuff and all that, after all. We should think of this as less like a game for entertainment and more as a serious competition between the haves and have-nots. :P

Hypothetical question: what will you say if one day SE offers that same reduced subscription pricing to players as Veteran's reward (without allowing it to stack with the existing pricing bonus Legacy players are already receiving), essentially broadening the number of players eligible for it?

Or, what if one day they choose to reduce the subscription price of this game to $9.99 a month, or offer a 1 year subscription option at $9.99 per month, or simply make the game free to play? Would that just be the last straw if other players were enjoying the same discount as you? You simply have to be receiving a better deal despite the reduced cost you enjoyed since the relaunch?

Just curious.
