    Fishing Aetherial Reduction Tread

Hey folks! So I've been... kinda wondering where this thread is as it is kind of important. So I'm going to use this thread to relay information about certain collectible fish that can be aetherially reduced and what they yield. Any additional help would be appreciated.

NOTE: I will be editing this post frequently and without warning, so please check back often for more information!

NOTE 2: As per request, my fishing stats as of the start of this thread is as follows:

    Gathering: 523
    Perception: 439
    GP: 607

My gear can be found at this link: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/R9RT

NOTE 1: My gear above is for Miner, hence the higher stats due to an off-hand tool, but I use the exact same armor and accessories for Fisher. For a main hand, I use a non-melded HQ Birch Fishing Rod
NOTE 2: I was doing this with Trailblazer gear (the blue scrip gathering gear)

Before the list, I want to point out that you will always get Water Crystals/Clusters from regular fish and you will always get Ice crystals/Clusters from Cloud fish. Other than that, things like Duskborne Aethersand have a chance to appear at 3/8, Dawnborne has a chance to appear at 5/8, and Seaborne has a chance to appear at 8/8. Happy fishing!

Red Balloon -> Sky Faerie -> Rudderfish -> Tupuxuara (Double Mooch)

RECOMMENDED STRATEGY: Use Patience II, when you get a Medium/Large tug, use Powerful Hookset, otherwise just use Hook. Using it on Medium will get you a Rudderfish, which is moochable for Tupuxuara, and Large is always Tupuxuara. Small tug could be either Sky Faerie (Best Case Scenario) or, more commonly, Unidentified Flying Biomass (Worst Case Scenario). Using Hook while under the effects of Patience II will more often than not cause the small fish to get free, allowing you for much faster hooking on the larger fish that you actually want.
