A lot of people have done this but there is still not a simple solution to the issue. Today I accidentally purchased a Prototype Guardian Hood of Aiming instead of Scouting. Yes, I know I should have taken a moment to read and click slower but in my excitement I made a mistake. There is no remedy for it besides a one time item restore which can be difficult to get processed and that is only ONCE!

I know in the past I have also done this with Tomes of Myth/Sol and I'm not the only one. It's even more frustrating doing it on something with a weekly lock out/limit on the item. With the game moving to more of a token system such as Ravana EX and Alexander NM, I feel there needs to be a reversal feature in game or the item restoration policy adjusted.

The easier option would be purchase reversal, similar to how WoW works. You purchase item, realize it's the wrong one and sell it back to vendor for the currency you used to purchase it. You'd have a small window to do this, 5 mins.
