@Krylo You did your math wrong. The 123 isn't calculating pps. You just added the potency of all 3 WS' and divided by the number of WS which gave you the average potency of the 3. The actual potency of a 111 v 123 is actually not the big however you also can't forget that the ammunition effect adds 20 potency to your WS'.

You're right I did forget a bit of the math and got potency per GCD (or 2.5 seconds--which is also average potency of the three because I was only doing three attacks) and ignored the base ammo effect.

In my defense I just woke up and had to get up to take care of something (namely my sister's kid was crying and she was trying to get a ravana normal clear while leveling). All the same, thanks for pointing it out so I could fix it (which I've done now). The end result of it being better to use alongside reload when possible is the same, however (a 20% increase in damage done over a period of time will obviously be a greater increase over all if the damage done during that time is heavier).
