I really enjoy machinist. But I really hate the cast bar. It's so annoying that im missing one GCD to use an OGCD unless I use them during procs, but since procs dont always happen I need to sacrifice a GCD.

You can press the OGCD button .5 sec (approx) before you end the cast (unless you have it in a macro), that way you will use the OGCD in the moment you end the cast and you will be able to cast again when the GCD is coming off

The only thing that I find uncomfortable is the little time you have to see the first proc
I put a button in the middle of my screen with Slug Shot, I wait until the end of the OGCD, if at that time the button have the proc's outline I press 2 and if not I press 1. That way I avoid doing tunnel vision

When you have a proc you get an special noise, If you don't have the proc you hear a thud "tsuds"
If you have the proc you hear "tsuds-bling", something like that, I am not good with onomatopoeias
but in the heat of battle it's hard to hear
