    Questing Woes.

    So been playing for a bit and wondering if the quests get any more involved then basic (basic, meaning literally garbage quests that make me feel like I'm playing one of the first mmos) fetch quests or kill x amount. And really it wouldn't be so bad if the quests weren't walking 10 feet and hand a guy a piece of paper or walk outside of town and 10 feet from the lvl 35 guards is the mob I need to kill.

    Everything is so lifeless and now I really want to play a bad guy because everyone is completely incompetent and lazy. "Sir! Please, help me! I'm starving and my soup bowl is on the far side of this bench I'm sitting on!" While a slight (very slight) exaggeration I have no desire to help anyone in the game because of it. Where is the backhand emote...

    Please tell me it gets better?

    Lvl 36 is just starting to scratch the surface. Devs said 1-50 are a sort of "training" to play the game.

    Quests do get more epic (Main story at least), as do the encounters with enemies you will be having.

    They then proceed to become soul crushing on the road to 60 in HS with the huge amount of back tracking and never ending stream of them with very little to break up the monotony! Please look forward to it!
    But the MSQ are amazing its just the sheer number of side quests they put in the world to give you EXP that makes me want to cry in the shower rocking back and forth slowly. ;-;

    Yes, the main story quest is fine, its the side quests that bother me. Thing that keeps me going is its a pretty nice looking game and the dungeons have been a blast. Was hoping people were going to say HS is more flushed out but oh well. Guess I'll do more dungeons instead of questing.

    Don't get me wrong there are some good quests in there its just there is so many of them you will probably end up finding yourself zoning out after a few hours of running back and forth and start glossing over things.

    Yeah, side quests are brutal..I don't do it anymore. I still don't have a job yet so I don't know if they change later on but they suck the marrow right out of you. And when you start a different class, at level 1 it makes more sense to just grind over doing the quests which give you very little XP and you have to run all over the play..

    They threaten a fate to Eorzea worse than any antagonist we've faced. They're trying to make this game worse than 1.0. An age of darkness and buried history.
    I've recently reached the churning mists and the reason I'm not playing at the moment is because I felt myself relapsing back into depression.

    Have they ever been competent at anything besides delivering my account rewards? Why do I have to deal with them? Good King Moggle was about as long as a delve as I could handle into their culture. I guess my level cap is going to have be 54. What class should I play next?
