What was the second job you played? Why did you choose it?

Just got my WHM to 60 and I still want to level a dps job. Looking at abilities and seeing what each can, they all look cool in their own way. How did you choose your second job?

I started as WHM and once I hit 50, my second job was Summoner. I wanted a DPS class, but I like magic, and Arcanist was new at the time, so I picked that up and enjoyed it.

Once my WHM hit 60 after Heavensward came out, I picked up my MNK again. It's a fast acting job and it's nice to flex the brain just a little bit after spamming cures.

Mine was a choice between BLM and BRD. It ultimately came down too /random and the one with the highest number won.

WHM to 60 first, MCH just clicked for me after that so my second job is now MCH. I still love healing the best though.

Got BRD to 50 and some time later decided queue times weren't worth it and leveled SCH.

WHM has always been my first.

I chose SMN as my second because:
-Carbuncle
-I like being a magick user
-I don't like BLM
-Carbuncle
-Dancer isn't a job (yet?)
-I didn't like Bard(Archer/maybe songs) ... maybe i should try it now its changed

I chose MCH to 60 next, because to me its a ton of fun. DRG was my first to 60.

I love being a WHM, and I'm normally casters and Archmage is an achievement and Arcanist is heals and DPS. THUS my second 50. I've played most classes to 15 now at least and my DPS preference is Rogue. Tank preference is PLD. I still need to try the new jobs. But I think it's really a personal thing .

After I maxed Ninja to 60 it's all crafting and gathering. When I pick another Job it will probably be Warrior always enjoyed Tanking.

Main MNK/BLM here.I always need melee and Ranged DPS in my Arsenal so I choose these 2 jobs.
Now for the reason :
Why choose Blm - Brd do crap dps,Smn back there in 2.2 ain't strong at all
Why choose Mnk - Speed of Grease Lightning is the whole reason I choose Mnk over Drg,Positioning never be a problem.
