Thread: I really want to enjoy these 3.0 leveling dungeons but....

is it even possible with such pitiful exp rewards? I'm pretty sure Aurum vale gives more exp than most of the 51+ dungeons which is really sad considering the monsters in the 51+ dungeons also take twice as long to kill. Hopefully we get some big exp buffs in 3.1 to make them at least worth running over the level sync'd ones.

They're more fun than AV, if that helps.

AV is still one of the best dungeons in game, idk why people still hate it.

If I remember right its a combination of what AV was like in 1.0 (which is also where the DD hate comes from too I think), and when 2.0 intially came out AV had a good bit of lag too for everyone. Might have been something else too involved with it beyond Coincounter. At the very least by the time I started in 2.1 it was better even if it left a bad taste in many player's mouths.

It's not that it's hard, I just hate being level synced and losing my abilities. That and I just find the whole aesthetic of the dungeon really...urgh. Whereas you've got the Heavensward dungeons with fun mechanics, no sync (while levelling), aesthetically pleasing environments and monsters (Bibliothing, last boss of Library <3), and level appropriate loot.

To cut it short, I prefer to have fun, not be as efficient as possible.

The post 50 leveling experience is horrible period. Sure the first one we had quests to help us out but it seems once you hit 50 the exp needed per lvl is insane compared to the exp per hr we can earn. And still have no idea whats with no exp in lvl 50 dungeons, that should have been fixed or implemented by now.

With queue times stabilizing and with dps queues easily hitting 20-30 minutes again, leveling a second or third job is just becoming a pain. They either need to up the exp or reduce the exp needed per lvl. 800-something-k I believe to hit 50 jumping to 3.8m in 10 lvls is just ridiculous.

Remember, you are also getting actions every 2 levels instead of 4. They wanted this to take as long to get from 50-60 as it did to get from 1-50. This is how. You get actions at smaller intervals, but it takes longer to do each one.

Didn't seem so bad to me the second time around excepth for getting from 58 to 59. The rest was pretty easy.

Dungeons are great to practice your new skills into your rotation and also has the bonus of possibly getting awesome new gear.

Only someone who doesn't care about repetition and enjoys it will choose to do AV over and over again instead of the new dungeons.

I just leveled arcanist to 60 as summoner almost exclusively with the new dungeons, and I can't wait for my WHM to get to them(at 47 now, f AV).

It really wasn't bad. Tab out and read forums or do dishes while in queue.
