Mp/Tp usage when attacking a training dummy, please remove it. so one can beat on it all day long without having to stop. i understand in a real fight u have to manage your Mp/Tp but the dummy is for practice.

with no MP usage how would a job like BLM whos whole rotation depends on MP management make any use from the dummy? Not to mention finding out if something like adding feint as a crossclass to bard is worth the TP loss in a rotation to avoid removing WM during movement.
I disagree, in a real fight you have to manage your MP and TP. The training dummy wouldn't work well as training for those fights if it gave you buffs you wouldn't have normally.

A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
You won't know the limits of your MP and TP if they take it away... it's working as intended *nods*
Precisely. Practice.
Having unlimited MP/TP would make any attempt at practice worthless.
whoops never even thought about that yurimi
Just chiming in with what others have said. I'm a BLM main, and I made good use of the training dummies as the new skills were introduced. I'm thankful that my MP was consumed as usual.
Rather than having limitless resources. I'd prefer having some way to reset cd's and resources instantly once the encounter with the dummy ends so I could get right back into it.
Be nice to be able to end combat with inanimate object without running away.
