Well it was my local Maplins, they've never even heard of SLI. My friend asked them about an SLI cable once and they said they thought he was making stuff up.Wow, should he be working? sounds like he is about 10 rendering 3d obviously means 3 dimentional objects, he should have atleast said "you mean stereoscopic 3d?" because that is what, i believe, is used for 3d movies and games, it would atleast allow you to make it clearer, because stereoscopic 3d is the normal tech used.
I play it with Nvidia 3D vision and it is amazing! Graphically it is a totally emersive experience. What is neat about they way 3D works with Nvida is you can customize how much depth there is and where the 3D focus is centered. With my current 3D settings I make the game look like I am playing with minature toys. It also really brings out the detail in the models and makes you appreciate the art even more.

"Hey billy, Chuck, Dan, Tom, Ralph, and Joe. Sunday: Beer, pizza, football in 3-D! BOOM!"
sunday comes
"here billy wear these, sorry Chuck,Dan,Tom,Ralph. Sorry Joe. I only have two pairs of 3D glasses."
@ $65.00 + a pop you're not going to find too many people willing to buy more than a few pairs. Not to mention the viewing angle is fairly narrow for optimal 3-D results.
Unless you buy a cheap brand like LG. You're still going to pay almost $1,000+ over a same size HD non 3-D TV.
Currently the standard is now HDtv. 56% of american households have a HDtv in them, and it's projected that only 2% of americans will have 3D HDtv by the end of 2011.
It's great if you have disposable income and can buy neat gadgets. As a younger gamer I did just that, I bought a huge TV (multiple!)I bought surround sound systems, I bought consoles, PCs blah blah blah. On a whim I'd go out and buy a couple hundred bucks worth of games. Now, my perception has changed. I have a mortgage, A wife and a family. I'm not going to plop down another $1,500-2,600 for a 3d-tv and another $220 for the glasses. How many of you will be in a similar situation in the future?
The TV market is trying to go the route of cell phones and have people "upgrade"every 2 years. 3-D is todays drive for sales. then it's going to be 3-D w/o the glasses, then after that it's going to Ultra HD sets.
A lot of people just bought a large HD tv in the last few years. 3D is a gimick, I just don't see that 56% of american s who own a HDTV to go right back out and buy a new 3D set so soon.
I got a 73" 3D DLP TV I would love to try this on as well. I picked mine up for $1800
It was done before.Like... a real 3D hologram (b'.')b
(Yes I will always repeatedly link that video, 'cos it still amazes me XD)![]()
I can understand wanting a nice T.V to play games/watch programs on but seriously paying $1000+ for one is... well... I'm sure there's more important things that money could be spent on.
Perhaps, but can they do this?!It was done before.
This thread makes me feel poor >.< or financially responsible...I don't know which to side on...However, this http://whitepeopleproblems.us/ comes to mind >.>
Anyway, try emailing HDNation for tech questions. I watch it on my Mitsubishi WD-82740 82in and listen to it through my home theater acoustics platinum room package bc the speakers are kinda lacking on the tv itself. I'm trying to upgrade so company doesn't think I'm on welfare or something. Harr harr harr.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm in the air?
I know what you mean though, the cinema screen I project my computer onto in full 3D HD doesn't quite feel adequate yet, and the 6 foot tall speakers can get quite loud, though that's not too much of a problem since I had the sound proof glass installed.
Not that it'd matter anyway since I live on a yacht, we had blue whale for dinner last night.
Now excuse me, I must open this vintage 50 year old bottle of french rosé and hang up the picture I bought from the national art museum in France. I'd have bought more but we were on our way round to Italy to pick up the brand new Lamborghini Gallardo.
God life is tough sometimes...
