    Expressions should be persistent.

Expressions like smile and such should be permanent, not go away after 5 seconds. It would add a lot of variety to faces in the game!

Yes I would like this option. I like standing with my globe drawn in the alternate pose because it makes me look more friendly.
    <---- How expressionless I seem.

My idle face looks quite grumpy all the time, but she has a small smirk when she stands there with her gun drawn ... I find that amusing.

    Edit: On topic ...
I'd like to see them add in a kind of 'changepose' but for expressions.
Set it up like the /random idle pose option in the settings, or even allow us to select from a pool of expressions to randomize.

People have posted about this before, but I agree. Of course, sometimes you don't want persistent expressions... And sometimes you just want to change the "default" one from /straightface. Because seriously... It looks like I'm always glaring at people.

But a system similar to the /emote motion, we could have /emote default, or /emote persist (or /emote stay if you want a less typo-able term)... That would be awesome. Just only allowed for facial expressions, and not on things like /laugh or /psych or /happy, because that could get annoying really fast :p

    Code:
    /smile
    /wait 5.0
    /smile
    /wait 5.0
    /smile
    /wait 5.0
    /smile
    /wait 5.0
    /smile
    /wait 5.0
    /smile
    /wait 5.0
    /smile
    /wait 5.0
    /smile
This is the only way I know to get permanent expressions.. yet its a real hassle. You have to keep clicking the button.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to combine macro's with other macros.. or can you?

Making them permanent would probably cause a lot less lag to the server.

This is a rather notorious subject (not in conflicted views, just overwhelmingly well known). There is a GIF that's been going around showing how messed up and insane the expression system looks. Going immediately from laughter to a piercing glare of a straight faced killer.

thats because that gif used /laugh, and then shortly after /straightface.

    This:

But yeah, as an Au Ra male it's quite unsettling to see my character smile in all these cutscenes only to then go back to the default face in the same cutscenes
