Console games that are fps really need to go away.

Never gonna happen, That's like saying Apple need to get out of the phone/tablet business.

But how every modern fps is on console, and there's no real fighting games or racing games anymore like there used to be, both of my ps3's have become glorified media servers for when I have company over.

Eh, Forza and GT are still very much alive in my book, and there are plenty of decent fighters around still, so I'm not sure what you're ranting about.
