    Alex 3 - Wash Away

But away from where? We've had several instances where some players literally stood at the edge and was pushed inwards. In addition, we've had players being shoved all over the place in a variety of different directions.

Does anyone know what determines where you get pushed? Or is it just purely random o.O

always thought it was back, but yesterday it actually shoved me forward. at this point we just keep him deadcenter in the middle and then id doesn't matter.

You are pushed from the middle.

Easiest way I've found to handle the single magitec hand is to have everyone stack in the center with the hand tanked facing the raid. The cleave damage is split between everyone making healing very light. Melee dps can still move to get their positionals as the damage is still light if you are missing a few people in the soak. It does not interrupt casts. When wash away is cast melee move to the front of the boss and everyone is pushed out toward the edge. Restack in center in front of the boss and dps until phase change.

Thank you two :-) I'll keep a super close eye on this. Perhaps the person was lagging when they were on the edge cause they literally teleported across the screen and exclaimed "I was at the edge and it shoved me away!"

When you stand at the edge, you will most probably pushed into electricity. you have to stand in the center. Doesn't matter where the hand is.

I generally tank him slightly off center to allow the raid / DPS to stack up just behind him. Wash away seems to pulse from the center of the room outwards so allowing the raid to stack center seems safe (Talking DF groups here) As a Paladin Wash Away does not move me at all so the boss stays put the whole fight (With just the clone hand being refaced by the OT) Only thing to watch for is dont run through the hands cleave after wash away unless your using the *Whole Raid stack* method.

Paladin Excels at this fight as MT.

Wash away happens every "Hand Phase" and it's usually at the start. It always pulses from the center. It's best to stack in the middle of the room, I feel like that inner circle in the middle/on the floor is there to guide you.

I also agree with Akei that Paladin excels at this fight as our MT PLD will target OT on double hands/ Divine Veil / Clemency.

Wash Away is a random direction knockback that is slightly less than the radius of the arena. It's why occasionally you get a player standing out away from the group that gets knocked in one direction, but not toward the edge they're closest to. The hand splits damage to all targets in range, so stacking all players and pets in the center almost no one takes any damage and a handful of AoE heals keeps everyone at top. Then Wash Away will ALWAYs knock everyone away in a random direction then just restack on the tank wherever he is until split.
