New way to gain MGP? Idea!

So.. I was thinking, a lot of people only go to the Gold Saucer for two things these days. Mini Cactpot and Jumbo Cactpot.

why not add a new way to gain MGP for those that want the 1 mil MGP prizes?

Like say a turn in thing? Similar to the daily Grand Company turn ins? Each day they ask for something different and make it a monster drop or a FATE completion. And it's different for each level.

Ideas? Comments? Suggestions?

A suggestion I have is take a lot of the BS RNG out of Triad and make the damn tournaments fair. That'd bring most of the people back.

Add more games and at least add more racetracks for chocobo racing. Gold Saucer quickly worn out its welcome.

lol, you can add hundreds of tracks and the people will still run only sagolii. as long as you get the same amount of exp and mgp on the longest and the shortest track the people will always run only the shortest ^^

new tracks are nice to have, but there is much more wrong with the chocorace than missing tracks. if they don't fix it adding new tracks is only a waste of time and money.

The same could be said for much of the Gold Saucer's attractions, their novelty has worn off an there for the place has been largely abandoned. Time spent trying to grind for vanity items can and is being better spent preparing for new raids and leveling new jobs. To put it simply, no one gives a damn about a pointless casino. Since getting my hair style book I my self rarely visit the place anymore. There's simply no point.

yes, the problem is the massive grind. the gold saucer should more work like an arcade hall, like the gold saucer in FF7. so you come from time to time between the raids and other stuff to play a little, have fun and that's it. but our gold saucer works more like you are grinding the whole day and then you go to the raid to have a little fun between the grind :x

My opinion is that at least one GATE, if not more than one GATE, should be occurring at any one time and that they should occur more often than once every 30 minutes.

More GATEs and all GATEs should give decent rewards for time spent.

Talking to a Gatekeep should tell you what GATEs will be occurring at each square within the next hour and 15 minutes.

I really do wish they could do a little something to breathe some life back into the GS. I know ours in Adamantoise is dead 90% of the time unfortunately. It's stinks because it was so fun for the first week or two.
