Defending monks

I read on the forums every now and then and now I reading a post a post of people playing monk complaing that dragoons are doing more dmg than monks. Lmao Plz do me a favor and stop complaining and master at your craft.

I played monk from very beginning and I will forever play monk. But things need to be said.

1. Stop looking on the internet for perfect rotations. (Theirs no such thing. I see monks doing the same bull crap and in out dugeuons and then wonder why they getting out dps where certain moves should be use depending on situation) what work for one person may not work for you

2. Maybe the players who out dpsing you are painfully more skill then you and will go the extra mile to put in the work to out dps you. ( I played alot of monks who dps lazy never using aoe,dots,position every now and then buffs, never getting cross class moves)

Just because your monk doesn\\\\'t mean you have the title to out dps other classes alot of you need to reevaluate your skills and what suit you when picking classes.

P.s. players skill can be the difference between bad and good dps the end

I know that monk mives need some reworking but complaining that monk dps doesnt come clost to another class is ridiculous. Maybe the way u dpsing it doesnt compete with the other class your going against.

Equal Ilvl / Gear and Skill and Monks still don't have the dps or utility that other dps do, They do require some mastery sure.. but are less rewarding and with the new Chakra system are likely to give you carpel tunnel.

I out dps alot of dragoons easy with no effort and lower ilv wats your point

Could just be those DRGs are bad. Wouldn't be the first time.
Anyway, even if DRGs out DPS us now... It's such a small difference so why give a crap?

Monks still don't have the dps or utility that other dps do

DRG has... Battle Litany, and buffs BRD / MCH.

NIN has Trick Attack, and Goad (eh).

MNK has Super Mantra, Dragon Kick.

And the DPS is pretty tied with Dragoon's edging out. Barely. We're fine.

i dps harder than some goons, you know those pug goons that just press 1 2 3 1 2 3, YES IM GUD, please if you were as good as you think you are you would know the capacity and the limitations of your own class but since you don't understand that players of equal skill the goon should win in dps then you are a lost cause

I mean technically DRG has a higher single target potential if they can preform their super super strict rotation and nail every position (Which i think the math is something like .7 seconds to nail dem positions before its a loss). So shouldnt they have a higher cap at the moment when MNKs are nearly the same they always have been?

MNKs still pull amazing damage, and have more tools then ever to keep that damage up. Plus they are right now the only class other then BLM with unlimited resources (Though they do take a DPS hit to do that, but seriously, unlimited resources is a big deal)
