Could just be those DRGs are bad. Wouldn't be the first time.
Anyway, even if DRGs out DPS us now... It's such a small difference so why give a crap?

Equal Ilvl / Gear and Skill and Monks still don't have the dps or utility that other dps do, They do require some mastery sure.. but are less rewarding and with the new Chakra system are likely to give you carpel tunnel.

DRG has... Battle Litany, and buffs BRD / MCH.

NIN has Trick Attack, and Goad (eh).

MNK has Super Mantra, Dragon Kick.

And the DPS is pretty tied with Dragoon's edging out. Barely. We're fine.

NIN has trick attack, goad, smoke screen, dancing edge (buffs all 3 tanks), and shadewalker.

MNK has super mantra and dragon kick

DRG has battle litany and the piercing debuff.
