Yeah I usually just craft sell some stuff and do leves. Maybe one day I could run that, but my main focus is in crafted gear so it is just sad the new gear doesn't allow dying it pink.

it will probably still be there, but it wont be obtained in the same way, maybe it will actually disapear for awhile till they come up with exactly how they want to implement the new dye system.

Dye will be obtainable from mining now, no alchemy involved, it just drops out of the rocks in pots, just like buckets of latex falling out of trees

Just to note, all three Disciples of Land can obtain all-purpose dyes.

lol i hated the pink gear. it was the color of Bazooka Gum
im not against pink gear i just didnt think powder pink was the right pink.

We still need justification on the reduction of yileded items that will result in stretching the time and cost to skill up at least 4 times what it is now.

Blacklip oyster is listed as an item not used in new recipes, but.. no new recipe was revealed for Black Pearls. How will I make Black Pearls now?

The same way as before. Just because it wasn't listed in the new recipes section doesn't mean the current way was abolished.

After looking over the recipes, even though we are getting a lower yield on recipes, certain items won't need as many mats to justify to create anyway. So instead of needing say 9 cloth to make something, we'd only need 3 cloth which converts to the same amount of synths before and after. Definitely going to need to change grind recipes after the patch.

With the advent of materia, hopefully gear sells well as people try to create materia. Honestly, I don't see lower level pieces selling a whole lot even with materia coming. Why? The higher ranked materia can only be created from higher level gear.

@ Bayohne: Please mention to the dev team regarding karakul skin since the same issue with puk wings & ether affects karakul skin and karakul fleece.
