    Folks, don't ask this guy to explain whatever he reported: if he found an exploit and reported it, and it turns out it isn't the thing that SE is addressing in this emergency maintenance, telling a bunch of people about it on a message board will do nothing but require another emergency maintenance and potentially screw with game balance on top of it.

    I dont think the crystal/cluster moraine thing is an exploit. if it is, then it'll get fixed in due time. Likely this has nothing to do with the maintenance either. Aether took an additional 40 mins on their maintenance to bring the servers up after the scheduled maintenance, and shortly after Mana and Gaia data centers started having issues. If anything the emergency maint, is in regards to that.

    I think the emergency maintenance has something to do with the mac so therefore likewise doesn't apply to most of us. Also that it will be a small issue an nothing worthy of an emergency maintenance.

    I wouldn't be surprised if that is fixed when it comes back. That seemed like a pretty serious exploit.

    In order to address the issue occurring since Jul. 14, 2015 causing players to become disconnected from certain instanced content on certain data center Worlds, we will be performing emergency maintenance on all Worlds at the time below. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XIV will be unavailable.
    This is why the emergency maintenance is happening.
