Is it worth learning to use Feint on BRD/MCH?

For anyone that was unaware, the notable thing about Feint (LNC cross-class weaponskill) is that it "casts" instantly even when in Wanderer's Minuet/Gauss Barrel.

I have two questions regarding this skill:

First, is it beneficial to the DPS output of either class to use Feint during times when it is not possible to stand still (and Rapid Fire is unavailable in the case of MCH) vs. dropping Minuet/Barrel and reapplying it after the movement-heavy part of the encounter?
Assuming it gets the 30% damage buff, it would have an effective potency of 156, which is higher than Split Shot (140) or Heavy Shot (150) outside of Minuet/Barrel, but it costs 80 TP and of course it can't proc Slug Shot or Straight Shot.

The second question (I'd appreciate an official response on this if someone from Square Enix is reading) is whether this behaviour on Feint is intentional or a bug.
Wanderer's Minuet explicitly states that it applies cast time to "Archer and Bard" weaponskills so I would expect Feint not to be affected, but Gauss Barrel states that it affects all weaponskills, so going by the tooltips it should be instant-cast on BRD but not on MCH.
Is the skill behaviour correct and the Gauss Barrel tooltip simply worded wrong, or is Feint supposed to have a cast time (and should it be on MCH only?) and is planned to be corrected in a later patch. I'd prefer not to get used to using the skill if its usefulness is going to be removed soon anyway.

With the changes in 3.01 MCH and BRD do not need feint anymore. WM/GB only go on CD when you put it on. So if you start a fight and need to take it off to move really quick, you do not have to wait to put it back on, but once you put it back on you have to wait 15s to take it off. ON>OFF>ON(15s)

You don't need feint. With how the ability works now, theres no reason to maintain GB/WM longer than you need to because you can easily swap back into it. What you will need to watch out for is whether or not you can stay in WM/GB for at least 15 seconds, because you'll be locked in for that long until it comes off CD.

In my opinion, feint is a situational skill that you can use when you quickly need to move and will allow you to keep your gcd rolling and weave ogcd abilities in between.

It's definitely situational. You have to remember though that toggling WM back on also costs a GCD, so there's a break-even point in there somewhere. Maybe if you have to hit feint more than twice it'd be better to toggle off WM.

I like it on my MCH since it's good filler when I need to take a few steps but it's not long enough for me to turn off GB.
I've tried it with my BRD and I don't like it as much.

I have feint equip, not that I use it often but if I know I only need to move a slightly bit to get out of the red zone and can continues attack right after, I ll use feint while moving.

It's neat that other classes get more usage out of Feint than the class the skill actually belongs to.

I personally don't touch it due to its TP inefficiency and I am totally OCD about my TP management.
