    Suggestions for Side-Quests (50-60)

So I'm new in Heavensward land. Should I save many of the sidequests in Heavensward for leveling other classes to 60 and just focus on the main storyline with the occasional dungeon spam, or should I use the sidequests to quickly level to 60?

I'm curious what you guys would have done differently.

If you don't do the side quests it will take a while or spend alot of time grinding FATES and dungeons, just take trip to N Thanalan and you'll see everyone doing that. If you're going to bring up alts to 60, one way or another there will be alot of grinding to do, as to what class you want to do it with is up to you. Level 60 is almost 4 million EXP, just to give an idea, those N. Than FATES average about 14k each. The side quests will pretty much get you to lvl 58ish. Though alot of the side quests give out HQ gear that helps out alot along the way. Also you will need to do some to unlock flying each zone has 5 (I think it was 5) currents that are tied to quests, some are MSQ, but others are side quests.

Save as many as you can get away with. It's reasonable to try and get a head start by making your way to 52 through Northern Thanalan FATEs. If you do this, you just might have enough spare quests to juggle two jobs as far as 55 with quest-sharing alone. But as you get further in it's probably pointless to leave any more quests to spare as the EXP req-per-level scales up far more than the quest reward and quest count.

Take every easy EXP handout you can get. Do DF dailies especially. Unfortunately HW FATES are pathetic in their current state, and the temple leves moreso (worsened a lot more by how the only levemete is in the city).

It really depends on how much grinding you want to do. FATE's in the new areas are ghost towns, N Thal is the best option for that. But honestly, unless you want to spend 3/4 of your time grinding instances, do the Quests. As stated above, many are required to unlock flying, and many of those flying quests are gated behind other quests.

If you save the quests now, you'll be grinding more now. If you do the quests now, you'll be grinding more later. I'ts really your personal preference as to when you want to grind. but you will eventually end up grinding if you plan on more then one class. IMO do them now. alts coming up will have exp bonus that helps out a ton in dungeon runs and FATES, something your current main does not have. The quests really help here.
