I got kinda bummed out when I learned that some minions with sit on your shoulder and that my Eos just floats around.

I would like to see our Faeries...

Sit on our shoulders
/dance when we do
/Sit on us or next to us when we sit.
Also appear at the end of dungeon cinematics when we all /joy lamely because dammit she helped too.

I am under the impression that Titan-Egi is a chicken nugget. I was told as such once and now I can see nothing else... but I love tanking chicken nugget.

Also fairies aren't minions.

The problem is that, unlike minions, the position of your fairy at any given time -does- matter. I'd totally love to see them emote when we do, though.

I honestly think the Devs put more time, thought and effort into making awesome Minions than giving us detailed egis and pets. I don't play SMN nor do i have it unlocked but when i saw the shit that are summoner egis, i turned my back on it forever.

I was really impressed with the faeries when I first acquired them on my arcanist alt, but quickly disappointed by how clunky they are to use. IMO the Faeries should be more intelligent when deployed give them an independant AI let them figure out where to be to best utilize their skills in battle and let them dodge on their own. Boo you say? It should be as simple as 3 buttons Defend, protect, Engage. The faerie should be able to act with a simple mode switch. In MSQ we've all seen Alphinaud experimenting with carbuncle, Ruby and Onyx carbuncle are now in game, how about a few more types of faeries. Attacker, Protector, Enfeebler, Healer modes Surely there are different kinds of faeries as there are different kinds of Carbuncle, and all would greatly enhance Scholar, Arcanist, and Summoner. We all know the faeries are not merely constructs they have individual intelligence they are not pets, let them help us without making us pokemon masters.

they should totally have little speech bubbles and say something once in a while. Not so much that it gets irritating, but so that they feel more alive.

Also my turret should have a laser sight that appears during the firing animation. And also rockets. There's a disturbing lack of rockets in my MCH's arsenal.
