    Bard vs. The Limitless Blue (Hard)

    Hey guys!

    So, I'd like a little advice. Since Saturday, I've tried several million times to get passed the fight and every single time I've failed at it. My main class/job is Archer/Bard and I was wondering if anyone has some tips as to how to effectively use those abilities to mash my way through the fight.

    What are your parties wiping to? Is it the dps check or the tanks?

    Every party I've been in usually wipes when Bismarck uses his ultimate attack. There's only once I remember when the party I was in got passed that part but the island lost it's integrity. I've also been using the Duty Finder so I've never been in a set party unfortunately. It's always the dps that lets it down which is why I'm asking if there's any way to use my Bard's skills effectively. I have everything up to the Iron Fist skill I believe.

    I see! I haven't gotten as far in Bard as you have but I'd definitely be using WM as there isn't much movement in that dragon phase. Are you using all your buffs? (Hawk's, Raging Strikes, Internal Release and/or Blood For Blood - if you have them cross classed, if not I'd recommend it, maybe not for this fight in particular but they are useful skills!) Use Barrage right before Empyreal Arrow so it multiplies (extra points if you do this while all your buffs are active!) You could also use Flaming Arrow but make sure to use it as soon as you get your blue or green debuff so it deactivates before you get another debuff (honestly not sure if it will hit you with Reflect or not, but just to be safe). Apply all your dots as soon as they are about to wear off. If you have any casters make sure to play Foe's (could also combine with Battle Voice)! That's all I can think of, I hope you have more luck! If none of this works, do you have a FC that would be willing to help out? I would if I was on your server

    With all that in mind, I think I need to have a shift around on my hot bars... I forgot about barrage since for some reason I took it off my hot bar (yup... I'm a derp). Thanks for helping me out. This also means I need to get my butt into gear and level up LNC 'cause I didn't think about that one. It seems like I've got some work ahead of me o.o
