Thread: Old 1.0 Af Armor

I have a question. I already did some searching and didn't find anything on this. I stopped playing about a year ago during 1.0. I did the 45 af quest for my drg and then stopped playing before I hit 50. Well, now I'm back, I hit 50 and I did my af armor quest and noticed.. there's new af gear. For the 45 quest as well, but now it seems I'm stuck with the old gear for those slots. Is there any way I can get the new af gear? The calamity salvage vendor or whatever its called doesn't have it.

You can get it by trading "Antique X" pieces which drop from Sastasha (Hard), Qarn (Hard), and Snowcloak bosses to NPC Kakalan in Mor Dhona.

Well the antique pieces are very high drop rate from the corresponding bosses (can check on Lodestone DB http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...y/?category2=2) so it's not difficult to get a full set within 2-3 dungeon runs. They were originally purchasable using Allagan Tomestones of Mythology which was much more of a grind to get a full set.
