Spawning Gandarewa.......?

Alright. There's rumors that collecting Dragon's blood from Moss / Blood dragons is the trigger for him, but we've been at it for hours, and have at least over 2-300 a piece, and still no sign of 'em.

Has anyone found any clues as to the true spawn conditions for Gandarewa in the Churning Mists?

Have you made an offerning to RNGsus?

I hear RNGsus tends to favor those who humble themselves before him with crystals, prayer, and Living sacrifices.

Or am I thinking of something else?

That was just speculation, I recently saw that some servers had a gandarewa spawn. This was attributed to people finally able to gather the folklore nodes. Again nothings been confirmed, so I wouldn't waste to much time killing dragons.

I swear this feels strangely reminiscent of the stuff we used to do to figure out elemental/weather benefits to crafting in FFXI.

Thought it was known already that gathering Legendary Nodes in Churning Mists with a "chain #5" is the trigger (aka 6 successful gathering, no gather wasted on uncovering or if you do then you replenish it to have 6 attempts on it)
