Just One Small Complaint

I've never had a single tell since the launch of heavensward. The problem is completely fixed for me. What are you guys doing to pull their attention? Got a track record of buying gold?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've never bought gold from goldspammers in any MMO I've played.

I think it is because I am a new player with a low level character. Maybe they think newbies are easy targets.

I get as much RMT spam on my level 50 character as my lower level characters, and I've heard from others getting spammed while in Heavensward. How much of an issue it is is just a matter of which server you play on. SE doesn't allow any RMT spam on the Japanese servers. (Apparently RMT itself is just as big there, just not the spam advertising it.) Small to mid population NA servers get the worst of it. There's some but not nearly as much on the really overpopulated ones. (A harder time making new characters cuts down the number of new spam bots as well, plus the remaining spam is divided between lots of people.)

I did see a pretty significant drop in the amount of RMT spam a few weeks before HW released. It's still a major issue, but not quite as bad as before. The game still lacks any of the basic tools for dealing with it, though.
