You'll never get in even if you try. Especially now with all the patch monkeys back.... Took 3 days of staying up/getting up around 4:00 a.m. to finally get my wife on Balmung. So yeah, don't even bother

Er, how do you figure? How ever many characters a player makes, they can only play one at a time, and by extension, only ever take up one space on the server at a time.

Because the server doesn't store any character data what so ever offline or on

I actually purged all but 2 of my characters yesterday. The servers haven't caught up yet.

Server capacity is a function of how many players a server can handle actively playing at one time, not how many are stored. Merely storing data is trivial.
