Yeah, I like how they put kinda a lot of effort into veteran rewards even though people would play (and pay) without them.

It was a really cringey scene that you couldn't skip Q_Q
I feared that scene through every play through of the game.
I would love it if Square Enix would let me support them and pay for 2 years worth of subscription. Sadly they seem to have enough money and do not want all of my money.
As for the next outfit, I would guess Terra since the females have been lacking lately with veteran rewards. I'm not sure if they'd let males use her outfit so I would guess Squall Leonhart. I hope to god no Tidus rewards...
We're overdue for another awesome veteran mount. Of course Twintania from Recruit a Friend will do nicely until then.
I hear you, I'd really love to top it off my subscription for the next year or two. From what I read it has to do with theft and such, I'd imagine SE receiving a chargeback for several hundred/thousand dollars would be a bigger deal than $100-2000.I would love it if Square Enix would let me support them and pay for 2 years worth of subscription. I really doubt they'd put more genderlocked gear in Veteran Rewards (they have the Cascadier vouchers for m/f swimsuits but that's pretty generic) I can see them doing Squall Leonhart's outfit as a veteran reward, but doing genderlocked stuff is a bit of a hassle for veteran rewards. Unless they make it and then do only a slight alteration of the design for male characters (and all of us supporting sexy and pretty clothes for men will rejoice).
If they are gonna release genderlocked gear with old FF character outfits, the best place would be the Gold Saucer and only if girls can't wear the boys' version. I could see Terra/Edgar being an equivalent set, or Relm/Strago, or Aeris/Cid (FF7). However they may end up getting as much uproar as Setzer's Gambler set got.

I'm just sitting here waiting patiently for my Goblin mask so I can finally glamour a Goblin Ninja....

Square studied wow when they constructed ff14 ARR and took a lot of things from the community forums to improve their game. One of these things were the veteran reward system. Players from WOW were tired to not get anything for their loyalty as WOW only rewarded new players or returning players. Square seemed to have taken that to heart.
They did end up getting a really cool small statue, but after a very long time and with strict requirements.Square studied wow when they constructed ff14 ARR and took a lot of things from the community forums to improve their game.
