This has been touched on several times ever since 2.4, and in that time frame, SE has only responded to the system only once. What they basically said was, "Sucks that you don't live in Japan."

I was hoping they do some sort of revamp for 3.0. I guess they are content with 2/3 of their player base having a disadvantage on the job.
