Ishgard Housing Question

If or when we do get housing in Ishgard, will new players, players who have yet to reach Ishgard or players without the expansion be able to zone in and out of the housing area? I believe this is an important question that needs to be addressed before the housing area is released to us players.

Yoshi said it is not planned yet but maybe in the future,

The lore reason he gave was that it is a war Zone (there might be other reasons but he said that in one interview), as such we will probably not see housing in ishgard before the Dragon war is in the past (so 4.0?)

Depends I think, housing in Ishgard probably means beeing accepted by ishgardians and as such getting housing there while not beeing alowed in the City would be weird (so I assume whitout Expansion and finishing 2,55 Story -> no housing)

Yeah, even if does happen, if you don't have HW or haven't completed 2.55, you won't get to Ishgard - simple as it already is right now, I guess.

Is it really that simple though? I started an alt character in Ul'dah and ported to the Mist long before the story opened the airship for me because my FC had a house in Mist. So FC teleportation is definitely a way to get to a place you shouldn't be able to yet. That's what I'd be curious about in regards to Ishgard housing; if an FC buys a house there, do they allow newer players to cheat their way into Ishgard in advance of the story via teleportation, or do they block off their FC housing until they finish 2.55? Neither sounds ideal.

Hopefully people can teleport there and just not be able to walk out into Ishgard.
