For anyone that was unaware, the notable thing about Feint (LNC cross-class weaponskill) is that it "casts" instantly even when in Wanderer's Minuet/Gauss Barrel.

I have two questions regarding this skill:

First, is it beneficial to the DPS output of either class to use Feint during times when it is not possible to stand still (and Rapid Fire is unavailable in the case of MCH) vs. dropping Minuet/Barrel and reapplying it after the movement-heavy part of the encounter?
Assuming it gets the 30% damage buff, it would have an effective potency of 156, which is higher than Split Shot (140) or Heavy Shot (150) outside of Minuet/Barrel, but it costs 80 TP and of course it can't proc Slug Shot or Straight Shot.

The second question (I'd appreciate an official response on this if someone from Square Enix is reading) is whether this behaviour on Feint is intentional or a bug.
Wanderer's Minuet explicitly states that it applies cast time to "Archer and Bard" weaponskills so I would expect Feint not to be affected, but Gauss Barrel states that it affects all weaponskills, so going by the tooltips it should be instant-cast on BRD but not on MCH.
Is the skill behaviour correct and the Gauss Barrel tooltip simply worded wrong, or is Feint supposed to have a cast time (and should it be on MCH only?) and is planned to be corrected in a later patch. I'd prefer not to get used to using the skill if its usefulness is going to be removed soon anyway.
