A feature I'd like to see..

I'd like to see a feature where we can choose between different animation sets.(for our Idle, Run, Sprint, Jump, etc.) It really doesn't really make sense that your mannerisms are tied to what race you choose.

Yeah, I'm aware that you can already somewhat do this with the idle animations, but those honestly feel like more of a "waiting pose" than a new idle animation. A feature like this would help out races that have terrible animations locked onto them a whole lot.(That male Elezen sprint, lol)

They could probably make this pretty easily if they wanted, just swap around racial animations since they all share skeletons.

Good lord no. Last thing i want to see is a repeat of WoWs mistake, where you can't just pick a race because you like the race, you have to pick one that doesn't look like a mentally challenged epileptic fish on crack when attacking.

The animations should always be tied to the JOB never the RACE for attacking and casting. Not just because I've had bad experiences with MMOs that do that, but the development work for getting different casting animations alone for the 6 current races would be astronomical.
Consider that there are several different casting animations already within the Jobs, then multiply that by 6 making each one unique and flavourful to the race and ... Just, NO

The battle animations are fine, really. Some animation customization outside of battle couldn't hurt.

Oh goodness if only. I had a character I'd have made as a Highlander except for one animation that clashed so horrendously with what I imagined that I ended up having to go with a Plainslander.

I love being an Elezen...but damn if I can't stand his standard (non Ninja-weapon-out) running animation. It's like "Sir, could you just try and care a little bit about the fact you're running for your life/running to something important?"
