This is a rather notorious subject (not in conflicted views, just overwhelmingly well known). There is a GIF that's been going around showing how messed up and insane the expression system looks. Going immediately from laughter to a piercing glare of a straight faced killer.

But yeah, as an Au Ra male it's quite unsettling to see my character smile in all these cutscenes only to then go back to the default face in the same cutscenes
