Solo Dungeons -- Anyone else doing this?

Completely wrecked Amdapor Keep (normal) as level 60 summoner. The demon wall was a joke. I didn't even need Titan-Egi except on the last boss. It was so much fun.

I started Sastasha solo just to see what it was like, and had to go AFK at first boss when someone showed up at door. When I came back they were dead, due to auto-attacks I suppose... I wasn't even on Summoner where a set of DOT's + a pet attacking would have made this a predictable result for me. And it wasn't even a level 50 job I was on.

I solo'd Praetorium as a level 60 WHM. It was hard and there were a few deaths, but taking down Ultima all by myself made me involuntarily shout random war cries irl. I think Regen saved me more than I care to admit, but still it was a hype experience to say the least.

I managed to beat Titan story mode with my i180 Monk. Took about half a dozen tries, but I managed to time GS to keep my stacks into heart phase and blow him away with fully buffed Forbidden Chakra and Tornado Kick before he could cast Gaol. If he even so much as starts to think about casting it, you're too late since the gaol still traps you as he's being incapacitated. After heart phase, I beat him before I ever saw him cast another gaol.

Did these, unfortunately Siren is pretty much impossible due to the debuff she puts on you (for WAR that is, healer or PLD should be able to). Also did Halatali HM fully, which was a lot of fun and I should probably record that sometime.

I've gone through The Sunken Temple of Qarn as a lone lvl 55 PLD. I'm in the process of experimenting with Halatali Hard to ascertain what's the reasonable minimum (in terms of both effective level and gear iLvl) for an acceptable run when doing HM dungeons - those mammets hit hard, after all. Glad it's certainly affordable once you've hit the sixties, per Spooky's previous post.

For cases such as Titan, I concur that mechanics might still trump the power boost we get at higher levels when going in solo. Still going to see what happens, though...

Going a bit on the other end of the spectrum, I figured I'd try to see what the minimum is to solo some of the starting dungeons -- so far, all I've cleared is Sastasha as a 27 gladiator. I was taking it fairly slowly and cleared with about 17 minutes left -- not too bad for a first attempt, I think, especially since it was only my second time overall in there.
