the only real hard and fast rule about parsers right now is "dont be an ass". we're at this weird point where people are openly posting parses on the official forums and devs are saying stuff like "well fanmade parsers might not be working correctly right now"

i did, but i was just using your post an an excuse to comment on the weird state of the legality of parsing. well cya.

I got it.

ACT responsibly and don't use parse numbers to bash people over the head. Instead, use them to take ACTion on your own gear and rotations and work to improve yourself. Really, the only other DPS any DPS in any given alliance should be comparing themselves to is someone of the same class. BRD vs BRD is far more accurate than BRD vs BLM in any given situation.
