    Melded accessories or Law accessories?

    What's the verdict?

    1. HQ iLevel 150 VIT items melded with strength for clemency/dps/aggro

    2. Law accesories for VIT for slightly more vit and secondary stats

I think that for now the Alex/Law accessories are better, use slaying if you want more STR. It is due to the big ilv and stat differences but it will change soon I guess with the new recipes where I'm pretty sure a custom HQ crafted ring will be better than anything else.

i150 crafted is superior, but significantly more expensive, and an even better option could be right around the corner. I'd just go with a STR and VIT Law set, then get STR accessories from Alex (unless Savage is absolutely bananas on HP check, you should be fine with just i170/i180 Law VIT stuff where needed).

Crafted (and melded) best as long as you value both str and vit. If pure str or pure vit, then alex stuff. Personally i'm still using i110 melded in some slots until replace with at least i180. I170 is only about equal. Holding out for possible new recipes and/or V materias being more obtainable in next patch before doing a bunch of melds.

i150 pentamelds are probably better than anything you can get right now for a balanced setup. If you want to go full-STR then by all means go for 190 STR accessories.

As for VIT, you don't need more than what you get with pentamelds for now, so full Fending accessories are downright worse, even 190.

i150 will only be beaten by a higher tier of crafted accs (unlikely before 3.1 or even 3.2), or i220 accessories (projected). In terms of pure raw attributes (STR+VIT), it cannot be beaten right now. In terms of pure DPS, full Slaying is obviously better. Full Fending is highly unnecessary. If old Coil progression is any indication, melded-level VIT is more than sufficient for cutting-edge.

i150s crush mixing and matching VIT/STR. (60 stat points per with max VIT/STR which is i220+ lvl stats like Seravi said)

i190 slaying are best for 99.9% of the game.
i190 fending are garbage. (until you have every other i190 accessory you could ever use on any job)

I melded my i150s (slaying) with 24 vit and extra accuracy to help with savage progression and future use.
