Who is Fen-Yll - AKA name of LTW guild

This was something I have always wondered since doing the LTW quests.

Fen-Yll fineries is the forefront of leather craftsmanship yet not much is known (to me) about who founded it, just that it's philosophy is very Gridanian: respect the animal where the leather came from and turn it into something worthy of it's "sacrifice"

Was Fen-Yll a miqo'te and the guild named after her similar to Mih Khetto amphitheater?

Or is it closer to pre-Gridanian/ Gelmorran as can be seen with the hyphen, which so far exists in Gelmorran words: Toto-Rak, Tam-Tara, Ak-Inik, Ak-Mena

It doesn't sound like a miqo'te name, so if anything in your suggestions it's probably Gelmorran? Did they mention how long they have been around?

The padjalii adopt the hyphenated name scheme. Fen-Yll was probably a padjal.

My 1st thought was that it was named after a Padjal, but then I realized Padjals have a singular vowel to their name; ex: O-App; Kan-E, A-Towa, A-Ruhn, E-Summi, etc.

Unless they, based on tradition, they drop that letter for whatever reason then vowel-Fen-Yll would make sense. But then again, I recall seeing a spire named after a padjal: E-Tatt

It's been a while, but I don't remember if it was ever stated when it was founded, but I think it's at least a few centuries old.

Who knows, maybe it's just Gelmorran/ Padjali for Leather? Just like there exists Mun-tuy brewery

I went though everything I have, but I have next to nothing to offer. There's a good chance it's never come up!

I can try to puzzle some of it out, though. They refer to the Fen-Yll name and say that perhaps your name might rival it. My guess is that Fen-Yll is an old name from the Gelmorran days that was, like with Naldiq & Vymelli's, given to the establishment by a very early (perhaps original) owner - an Elezen (Atelier is French for "workshop") - hundreds of years ago, not long after Gridania's founding (perhaps earlier, if they plied their trade in the underground cities, but that seems like whimsical leap to make in assumptions just yet.)

The name looks more Gelmorran. That would put it awfully early to be the guild founder, though. Perhaps a word or place name from Gelmoran that carried over for a while until the newly forming guild/business took its name from it. (That's pure conjecture, though.)

I could be totally wrong here but I thought somewhere along the way there was mention of Fen-Yll being some sort of beast/creature? Gelmorran? Probably, because of the similar naming like the creature named Toto-Rak.
