Game Crashing/Freezing on Loading due to excessive bandwidth

I've been having the issue with the game since I signed up for the trial more than two weeks ago and more frequently since I bought the game. When loading areas either login in or changing areas the game has a tendency to ramp up and saturate all SATA3 bandwidth it can out of my HDD. If it ever reaches anything abve 250MB/s the game freezes and if it doesn't quickly settle down it crashes. I have the game installed but it uncharacteristically uses more bandwidth than any game I've owned.

Bellow is a sample of how the game ramps up its bandwidth and causes the crashes, the video cutsoff when the game manages to push an upwads of 411MB/s before it crashes entirely, this was captured using Nvidia ShadowPlay

No video at that link? Just getting a pic of character selection?

May be a driver issue or something weird with the bus controller or something. Could be a hardware issue---power fluctuation, hot spot around he drive or bus controller, or some other anomaly with your system affecting RAM or any other subsystem during the transfer. The game is pulling a lot if data but it isn't managing how fast/slow the data is delivered--the drive/bus controllers and drivers/firmware manage the data flow once requested.

I've tried stressing my HDD and reinstalling the game. This is the only application that causes this kind of erratic behavior.

Just watched mine during log-in, and mine pegged 700+ MB transfer rate--on a laptop. Either you have some file corruption or something is going on with your hardware or the drivers that is causing the hang.

Is your PSU up to snuff? Seen some people put together systems without a sufficient 80+ grade unit that just isn't toting the load when all subsystems are getting hammered at once like this game does, and it can cause weird things to happen. Remember, it isn't so much the overall rating of the unit either--you have to have enough headroom on a single rail to support everything on it--typically this is focused on the GPU's external power plugs. Sometimes moving them to another rail or splitting them up can help stabilize a system if that is the issue.

Are you running a really high resolution? Just wondering because that video wouldn't fit on my screen and my desktop is 1920/1080. Might be something going on on the video front if you are supersampling or something. Just a thought.
