    Small Suggestion to Chocobo Mounting

I'm so excited by Chocobos just as much as the next person.

But I was a little disappointed to see that calling a mount was nothing more than a whistle animation and the bird appears underneath you!

I was kinda hoping that when we would whistle that the Chocobo would come running from an offscreen area depending on how your character was facing and you would jump on the Chocobo as it runs up to you and stops.

Having more of a western feel to it

I realize chocobo appear in XI in the same fashion, but shouldn't XIV have that little extra pizzazz to make it special?

Some ppl aren't going to like the 3-5sec delay to display an animation to mount a Chocobo when they need to get out of someplace in a pinch. But usually you can't preform the command to call a chocobo when you are under attack, so the Devs prevent us from using Chocobo's to escape. So why not take a few extra seconds to animate mounting a Chocobo?

I only thought they might do this by one of the launch trailers they showed whee a Chocobo came in and a Lalafell jumped on and rode off. It was such an Epic moment!

It's alot better than just fading in from nowhere and appearing underneath you.

I agree, though I have yet to see the animation in game. The trailers demonstrated the effect efficiently. But, the only game I have seen a mount ride up from nowhere, stop and you mount is age of conan.
