none of those that have 1400+ are faust only, if i was to go out of my way to clip the adds with elixir field and howling fist i would have been closer to 1500-1600can break 1400 on Faust it seems, based on this reddit thread.
I'm liking MNK competitiveness in Alex Savage, we're still very solid dps wise
ahh really? sorry, I thought those screenshots with just Faust are good, how do you tell?
its a fairly specific layout, but most of those are the rainbowmage overlay screenshots, which wont show the damage dealt to Faust only
edit: just looked through the thread, http://i.imgur.com/zwA6Xkg.png is an example of faust only
People in that reddit thread are not all posting just equal parses as quite a few of them are with the clipping adds point is NO monk is gonna pull 1400 in there right now on just faust damage only , On a dummy im doing 1260ish without 190 Pants and on faust fight im getting 1280-1300 i have 1310 but i clipped one of the adds for 1.3k damage...can break 1400 on Faust it seems, based on this reddit thread.

Here 1310 take 2-5 dps of for hitting one add for 1300 damage

I've been reading this thread and would like two ask two question if possible 1. Form shift to coeurl form-> shoulder tackle -> demolish -> perfect balance -> snap punch -> blood for blood -> snap punch -> internal release -> dragon kick -> steel
peak -> twin snakes -> howling fist -> snap punch -> (perfect balance drops here) elixir field -> touch of death -> Forbidden chakra -> boot shine -> true strike ->
demolish -> Fracture OR Dragon kick (Blood for blood drops) -> continue with normal rotation.
Is this rotation superior to
Form shift to couerl -> demolish -> snap punch -> snap punch -> dragon kick -> blood for blood -> twin snakes -> internal release -> snap punch -> pot -> Touch of Death -> elixir drive -> boot shine -> howling fist -> true strike -> forbidden chakra -> demolish -> steel peak -> dragon kick -> shoulder tackle -> twin snakes -> fracture -> snap punch
Also when you say yo rotate fracture and tod do you mean In a go around like boot shine -> true strike -> touch of death -> snap punch -> boot shine -> true strike -> fracture -> snap punch and respecting when tod goes to less then 3 seconds
^^ would greatly value any help and thank your for letting me take up your guys' time
Yup all those 1400+ numbers are just inflated damage due to adds getting hit by AoE's.
No summoner is doing 1800 DPS against Faust.
Thats our parse from tuesday: I didn't use a pot though because it was our second attempt and it was on CD.

Numbers may vary alot depending on the setup due to the shortness of the fight with different factors.
Melee DPS push: Ninja, Dragoon, Mechanist
Caster DPS push: Ninja, Dragoon, Bard

*repeating
I just notice my fracture question was answered throughly in the main page and I'm other comments I am very sry
If you want to include a pot into your rotations you should go for:
Form shift to coeurl form-> shoulder tackle -> demolish -> perfect balance -> snap punch -> blood for blood -> snap punch -> internal release -> dragon kick -> Pot -> twin snakes -> Elixir Field -> snap punch -> (perfect balance drops here) Howling Fists -> touch of death -> Steel Peak -> boot shine -> Forbidden Chakra -> true strike -> demolish -> Dragon kick or Fracture (Blood for blood drops) .....
There is no rush in using Forbidden Chakra, only use it once all your other offglobals are spent and GL3, IR, B4B are still up.
