    You're not getting the crit on the first bootshine. (I'm an idiot...nevermind)

    I would also use fracture first instead of ToD so you can get 2x fracture in, for fights like A3S, which would be a DPS increase. It really depends on how long the opening phase is for a certain fight.

    I start my b4b after twin snakes so I get an extra bootshine/true crit with 10% damage also.

    You can't get a guaranteed crit on the first bootshine after Perfect Balance, regardless of your opening rotation. After PB falls off you are formless, even if you use Snap Puch/Demo right before PB ends, so a regular bootshine is unavoidable. It can still crit though.

    Why to use first DK with perfect balance? Its not better to use TS since it have more pot (and cost less tp)? You can't apply Dk debbuff with Perfect Balance ON...

    Twin Snakes is 140 potency 60TP, Dragon Kick is 150 potency 50TP (If by TS you meant True Strike, True Strike also costs 50TP)
    And you can apply the DK debuff in PB.

    You can apply Dragon Kick buff with Perfect Balance on, that is what Perfect Balance does. Gives you access to all the bonus's behind each stance'd attacked.

    I was basically using this opener but with demo, snap, snap, reversed the order to your's and magically all my dots, dk/ts, and a 2nd fracture line up perfectly... sigh, you are awesome! Only sad thing is not being able to see how much a gain I'm getting (ps4), though I'm sure it's not too large, the 2nd fracture and non-existent dot clipping must help some. Any who, thanks Ossom.

    I've noticed this too, quite a while ago. I just don't do it, I just prefer to do Demolish 3rd, just because its got 20% more Dmg if you wait 2 (Long) GCDs, so I choose to do that.

    A lot of monks do Demo > Snap > Snap, I would say probably 90% of the monks I have seen, on and off my server, on twitch, on reddit, etc.. do Demo > Snap > Snap, because the best Monks do Demo > Snap > Snap, look at world first clear videos and the Monks in there do Demo > Snap > Snap. So it makes sense that that method will be the on to propagate to other monks to continue doing that form of Opener. Its a very heavy part of the Monk "Meta", and Demo > Snap > Snap is most likely going to be the go to opener for the Majority of Monks for the foreseeable future.

    Arguably, Demo > Snap > Snap should be better, you should always do the highest Potency skill you have that won't mess up your rotation first as a rotation is just about building potency as fast as possible. Its a Greedy Algorithm, but when you factor in Buffs and their effects, things change.
