Couple of years doesnt even begin to touch how long Almalexia and I have been part of the monk community and doing what we can, Id say a good decade or close to it. Assuming this is the Almalexia that I remember back in FFXI when he use to hit like a wet noodle because lolmithrastr. Hes grown fat and old, because I remember he would be more active with the community with retrieving data samples and strategy. He was one of the first monks to get Glanzfaust and provide data for it. I kind of miss the ZAM forums now... wonder what ever happened to milich(pahn) and Kinematics(Motenten) other old active monks back in the day. I think Veggeto(Tiger) is still around.

This game just isnt as fun to take apart as FFXI was when it came to gear and fights, I feel old now...

If Square Enix wants to "encourage" more raid groups to take Monks with them without buffing them again, what they can do is design future Savage fights that play to their strengths. A lot of people would agree that Monks have the best AOE DPS of the 3 melee damage dealers if A2 Savage is any indication. For example, have a future Savage fight with boss that has a bunch of adds that repeatedly spawns between intervals that needs be off-tanked and burned down quickly or the entire group wipes. I'm pretty sure there are more examples out there that people can think of.

Ahh I remember Veggeto back in the days of killing ifrit forum. Was a mnk then and still now. Quite sad when they took away simian WS(asuran fists)

Well that's definitely unintended and will be taken away now, but at least I can abuse it until it's gone.

Can confirm, that you can use forbidden chakra AND purification, bug or not, OP for now

Yeah if this is intentional, I don't think Monks will ever have to worry about TP issues again.

They'll find out sooner or later anyway... something like this doesnt go unnoticed for long. Case in point, lol.

I'm pretty sure someone right now is figuring out where to fit the Forbidden Chakra + Purification glitch into their Monk's Rotation.
