    Yes, but unlike parses, this does give players an unfair advantage in comparison to people not using it (IMO).

    I dont really care about people using it during raids, but when it comes to PvP this is completely broken. If you decide to chase down a SMN or BLM, it's not even funny how some of them can backstep away, at sprint speed, while facing and attacking you. Not to mention that casts will always go out even if someone is running circles around them.

    I used to play with the camera lock on target and that thing was even better in PVP than the facetarget macro. Pop sprint, motivation and press forward all day, that's very handy.

    I don't use the facetarget macro in PVP because I don't really care about loosing one or two auto attack in PVP but I can understand people being pissed about it.

    Its more so used as a defense mechanism. You are running away from a Drg, Mnk, Nin and also facing them so they are unable to get positionals off on you.

    So about Tornado Kick. Assuming 330 is it's potency before the game factors GL3...I kind of see why they're not buffing its damage output.

    +30% damage from GL3
    +10% damage from TWS
    +10% damage from DK(considering TK is blunt, it pretty much benefits)
    (i didn't put bfb because that won't always be up when used)

    Assuming my math is correct TK's potency with the above factored should make the attack do 495 potency, which is only 5 lower than what we saw as the base potency before 3.0 it. A regular TK is like what....2-3k non crit? Imagine the damage if it actually had the 500 base potency. We'd be seeing like a 750 potency attack, which is pretty damn ridiculous, imo. So yeah, I KIND OF understand why the damage isn't getting upped. However, I still hate the delay in the attack's registration.

    i'll take the opportunity to clarify for people exactly how tornado kick registers damage.
    tornado kick while by all appearances does have a delay to dealing damage, the actual amount of damage dealt is decided the moment the skill is initiated, what this means is even if a target becomes untargettable, invulnerable or you die during the animation (for example, enrage) the damage will still register so long as tornado kick was used before that happened.

    Does it count even if you don't see the actual damage on the screen? I'm thinking of A1 when the boss jumps in mid-animation, or Ravana right before Fuller/Stance change. I see no damage on the screen, but neither is the skill interrupted halfway.

    Yeah I'm not sure about the untargettable thing. It doesn't seem like a final attack on Manipulator at the last second in A4S does anything, even if you get your skill "off."

    I have a combat log from last night that goes like:

    The Manipulator readies Mortal Revolution.
    Brock Mage cancels Blizzard III. [haw haw]
    Arrow Mage cancels Empyreal Arrow.
    You use Full Thrust.
    → Critical! The Manipulator takes 3292(+72%) damage.
    → You recover 1541 HP.
    → You lose the effect of Life Surge.

    This happens at least once a raid night. Not sure whether that damage actually registers, but the heal does and it's still in the log. A lot of bosses in HW have that sort of invincibility that lets your combo continue, though IIRC Ravana before Blood Fuller has that Titan-esque "tink tink tink" invincibility just as he jumps which stops all your stuff.

    If you look at your battle chat it will say you did the damage but it wont do a pop up on screen.

    I don't understand how Ariyala's, using Dervy's weights, is showing THIS (1332.586 STR) as BiS when THIS (1334.378) is clearly superior (if you can stomach the SS). Must be discounting Baked Pipira Pira?

    Either way, personally, I'm going with THIS (1334.397). I doubt I'll miss 3~5 Acc (pun not intended).
