Have the 210 Eso, theres just no way I would give up the skill speed off of it unless Diadem becomes a thing again and people start doing it. But even then I go in there as Smn/Blm to get caster gear.

There's also what Ossom pointed out here. While skill speed is our lowest value secondary many of us like to have around a certain amount (personal preference), and losing a large amount of it like what's on the Eso weapon can be hard to make up for elsewhere if you're looking to stay around a specific amount. Keep in mind though there's no magic number for skill speed on monk. You don't have to any additional skill speed at all for openers so it comes down to purely a personal preference.

How much skill speed would you say is good to be at? I heard 600 from one reference and another friend said dont care for speed. Personally i try to be closer to 600 and i have like 551.

Like I said, it's purely personal preference. Some like to be on the higher end of the scale, others at the extreme low, and others anywhere in between. I personally like around 600 which is in the middle, but you can get used to how things play at any amount.

Hey guys. New to gearing seriously. What's the accuracy minimum we need for a monk? Also, I'm sitting at 748 crit. Should I start building det if my accuracy's already high enough?

I sit at 650 Acc for when I go into AS4, otherwise I change my headpiece around and drop down to like ~600 and use food to make up ACC for AS3/AS2, other than that ~600 for all other content other than that.

I like to be at 620~650 SS only because the BLM in my group does the craziest damage I've ever seen so I need more SS for AS4 so that I don't lose GL getting quarantine and coming out to the manipulator being out.

If you have the ACC you want and don't care about SS, just stack Crit, I think my monk is at 860 Crit without Food and like 450 Det. (My Smn on the other hand is like 780 Crit and 810 Det, so freaking crazy I love it, Gordian Book/Eso Body/Eso Legs is just toooooooooo over powered).
