So far I've enjoyed the 3.0 opener and since there's no different I'll just stick to it. I guess at this point we can both agree to either do 3.0 or Ossoms opener and you won't go wrong. Thank you for a nice debate
Just an FYI. Spike damage is worthless, If you want even higher spike damage. Start With Snap > IR > Snap > B4B > Demo > Forbidden Chakra > Tornado Kick, or hell, just do Forbidden Chakra as your opening move. Your spike damage will be crazy, so while using end of the run/dummy parses are good. Noting that ones spike damage is higher, atleast for Monk does not say much. Unless you do it in phases.
Such as : @10 Seconds I was at XYZ, @ 30 Seconds I was at ABC @ 1 Minute I was at @ 123. Even then it means little because spike damage just says, I was able to move all my damage up to the beginning of the fight. Which isn't what Monk was designed for.

I sometimes wish TK is on a process system similar to bloodletter and we get a free TK lol

I know that we're play more for the sustain than a spike . But to me in my opinion anything inside a 1 min gcd it's still good to get a good number in burst. But in comparison of your opener and lillyth vs 3.0 opener getting the same results but higher burst due to the fact that I pop CD early tho, I think I'll just settle for the 3.0, since the end result are the same. I guess I'm just more comfortable with the 3.0 opener including a lot of monks here. This why sometimes I call BS on 3 minutes parse sometimes.

Could go a bit higher even without food pot party buff. What's your rotation like? If you look at the front, we have 2 pretty good openers in there.
well, we often discussed about it, to improve the forbidden chakra skill right? we want to build it up faster but square said, thats probably to powerful.
Hows the idea, if you can chose about slow and fast build ups? i mean, there could be an alternative way to build them faster up by press and hold the button, like channling. But we cant move as long the we hold down the button. Instead of this, square enix could increase the reactivation phase up to 1 sec or 1.5 sec to build it up while moving but slower.
think i could deal with it it would be a acceptable compromise
