MCH's Blue Garter use a lot Promotion his Rook Autoturret (TP regen). Can anyone explain to me how Tyrith Peng manages to never use Purification in A4S and still use 9 Fractures like it's nothing? I run in an identical comp (no Ninja + MCH) and I find that 1 Purification is still insufficient in restoring TP as I run dry by around 2nd Pentacle. This is even after adjusting my rotation later to cut out ToD (which Tyrith Peng also spams still).
A lot of tp, almost plays so much it makes me think he is playing it just for the mnk, which is very selfish of your mnk(especially if there is no purfications used) or a really dumb mch.
something tells me thats not the case, tyreth was one of the first full i210 in the world, and to make it even better he was in BiS at the same time.
with someone that far ahead, they could have simply thought sacrificing a little dps from the mch would have been better overall, of course i doubt it would have been, but idk how much gear the mch got.
The Tp is actually never for me, he used to play so much for the ninja because before the latest patch ninja would always run out way before i did, and im pretty sure after the patch its generally used for the DRK if we don't have a ninja, I have personally never asked for Tp to be played for myself on any of the fights (ok maybe a little on A2S) because its usually the other melee classes that are Tp starved before im even close to running out.
I actually remember getting criticized by other monks during 2nd coil for not using fracture because i didn't think the TP cost was worth the personal dps gain so its kind of amusing to hear someone call me selfish for using it now.
Also i cant remember if the most recent A4S parse for me had multiple quarantines but i generally always get 1 and on most of our kills got 2 which obviously cuts TP consumption pretty heavily to the point i usually don't even use an invig until the 3rd leg.
Honestly if that was my intention we would be running with an Astro like every other parse on FFLogs does now days, our weekly clears aren't special and aren't even us trying to push dps or speed kills, so you can think what you like but if we wanted to buff 1 monk to do as much dps as possible you could probably get close to or break 1600 on A4S.

while im not saying it doesn't have its merits, your group does still buff your damage by allowing you to avoid most of the mechanics of the fight from what i can tell of fflogs, for example you don't fight the adds that spawn outside of quarantine, and you have no extra responsibilities such as stunning the legs for perpetual ray....

i could probably speculate further and say your group handles the lazers for you so you almost never have to move for them, or that the mch is in fact playing TP solely for you, and theres probably a few other things that could be done as well, but in the end it doesn't really matter.
anyway, my point is while you may not intentionally be trying as a group to buff your dps, the fact of the matter is it is still happening on a partial scale, and other monks that are feeling discouraged by not being able to match the dps should keep this in mind.
I run out of TP around the same time at second pentacle. I just weave in 2 meditations per rotation before I completely run dry. Same, no nin goads no BRD tp song.

IM so happy I got a 210 pants with 91 crit and 57 SS. It's better than 210 eso pants

If any other MNKs could chime in on ideal times to request TP (if at all) or if I'm overburdening my MCH by not using Purification 2-3 times it would be very much appreciated. Thanks~
