How to level up a DPS fast?

Hi, I just wanted to ask what is the best way to level up a DPS fast or at least on a decent timeframe, I always play as a healer or tank on this game and I can get to the dungeons right away but as a DPS the wait time is awful, I was wondering what should I do, I want to play with my Monk but is stuck at lvl 30 and it's been hell on earth to get there, maybe Im just used to the insta queue. Any advises to lvl up would be appreciated.

I like to hop in the queue, then do leves while I'm waitin' for it. Always turn the leve level up as far as ya can handle.

Of course, ya may lose an allowance when the queue pops, so sometimes its a gamble. Ya could do FATEs instead, but I hate that shite. Either way it helps break up the monotony.

You mix it up, do FATE (make sure to complete the weekly challenge), guildhest (weekly challenge), levequest, your hunting logs and grind dungeons. Also look at your FC members and ask nicely for anyone leveling up healer or tank class to join up with you. Make friends, put a party together, do stuffs together, grab random strangers doing FATE and make friends. Stuffs go by faster when you do it with "friends" so to speak.

Fates or leves, I hate leves so fates here while waiting for ques. LoL at least people have preferences on what to do between ques. (you already have main story done, but i tend to lvl a dps through main story or side quests since tank and healer que and lvl faster).

I do dungeons until about lvl 25-28. Then I go to Costa De Sol fates until lvl 35, then go to central Courthas (might have spelled wrong) until lvl 43-45. After that is Nothern Thanalan until lvl 50-54.

Thank you for the replies, I dont have a FC so that makes a lot harder to find someone to grind dungeons, Im just tired of them I have been in a lot of different FC and always they end dead or nobody wants to talk or help so I decided to play this game alone at the moment.

From what I know, Healer and Tank, they best lvling source is dungeon and DPS are PVE outside world... AKA Fate.

In terms of exp gain, FATEs are the way to go pre-50. They're just close and convenient. The prominence of FATE parties rose for a reason, especially in the early days of both launches. Of course, FATEs is soul killing, mind-numbing work and forces you to spend more gil on repairs than it rewards, but it's fast.

Although it's slow, I prefer doing hunting logs, leves, and careful planning of my challenge logs while waiting for a dungeon or dutyfinder to open up as a dps. I'll do FATEs occaissionally, but I can't stomach the things for more than 10 minutes.

you wont be lvling up a dps fast, and it gets a ton worse when you finally reach lvl 60, so bad I was forced to reroll, goodluck..
