    Not sure if design flaws or just EU joke

    Hi guys,

    I'm very new to this game but having a blast. I have just but one issue, no matter what I do 90% of AoE from ennemies hit me even though I'm clearly out of the specified area. Are you guys also having this problem? I'm just considering 2 options because I have sometimes, but rarely, saw some streamers on twitch on the ffxiv channel (sry I watch more old school speedrunner) with whom this mechnism works fine for most I've see and I have a very good internet connection with very low ping/lattency from anything around EU. So I was wondering perharps if the recommanded server for EU is actually not in EU if so that would explain both my lattency and the delay from de AoE display... I mean in 2015 would that be really serious as a professional choice to base one continent's server not in this continent? I can't believe this that's why I'm posting this in case there is another explaination. Please enlight me
